After his appointment Wednesday, Johnson told Rigzone his focus will be “to fully support the organization’s mission of representing the Texas oil and gas industry through effective communication, education and advocacy at all levels of government… With the state’s next legislative session around the corner (begins in January 2025), the work of TIPRO is as important as ever to protecting the ability to explore and produce oil and natural gas.”
TIPRO was founded in 1946 and represents nearly 3,000 individuals and companies from the Texas oil and gas industry.
