Oilfield Helping Hands (OHH), a non-profit organization that helps oilfield families in financial crisis due to no fault of their own, announced Oct. 28 the launch of its Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. The chapter fosters support within the oil and gas community by connecting individuals and organizations committed to improving the lives of families in times of crisis in the industry. The DFW Chapter will serve the surrounding counties, creating a network of collaboration and mutual assistance among oilfield workers and their families. This new chapter represents OHH’s commitment to strengthen and support the oil and gas workforce. It will provide more opportunities for industry employees who meet the eligibility criteria to access OHH’s grant assistance.
Nate LaRue, president, OHH Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter, said, “OHH has a long-standing tradition of assisting oilfield families during challenging times, our mission is to ensure that no one in our community faces these difficulties alone. Together, we can make a significant difference in the DFW area.”
