U.S. Energy Information Administration said Tuesday retail price of gasoline is expected to be lower in 2025 and 2026 compared to 2024. The estimates reflect the EIA forecast of lower crude oil prices. EIA forecasts U.S. gasoline prices in 2025 will average $3.20 per gallon – a decrease of more than 10 cents per gallon from 2024. Forecast for 2026 falls to $3.00 per gallon.
