Enverus said Tuesday in its latest Drilldown Report that ExxonMobil continues to be the leading driller in Permian Basin and U.S. Across the U.S. as of Feb. 14, Exxon’s weekly average was 36.3 rigs followed by ConocoPhillips with 32.0, Occidental with 29.6, Continental Resources with 24.0, EOG Resources with 23.4, Mewbourne Oil with 22.7 and Devon Energy with 22.0.
And in Permian, Exxon led with 35.3 rigs followed by Oxy with 24.6, Diamondback Energy with 15.9, Mewbourne with 15.1, Devon with 15.0, Conoco with 14.7, EOG with 14.6, Permian Resources with 12.0 and Chevron with 11.7.
Enverus also reported as of Jan. 31 there were 110 frac crews at work in Permian Basin (down from 151 year ago) among 179 in U.S. (287 year ago). And Permian leads in DUC (drilled but uncompleted) wells with 2,293 (2,595 year ago). Count of total DUC wells in U.S. was 4,455 (5,366 year ago).
