National Gas Intelligence said the Henry Hub daily natural gas spot price reached all-time high averages twice in the final 10 days of January. NGI said the daily average was a record $28.280 per MMBtu Jan. 23, and then it increased to an average of $30.565 per MMBtu three days later Jan. 26 during winter storm Ferm. NGI said the surge in price “exposed how LNG growth has upped the ante for supply stocks.”
