Gainesville-based Select Water Solutions said last week it contracted with a leading public operator for expanded comprehensive water management in Select’s northern Delaware Basin network. The agreement includes recycling, disposal, and pipeline gathering and distribution. Select will construct an additional 100 miles of pipelines, 3 million barrels of storage capacity, and 60,000 b/d of additional recycling capacity to support the operator’s development plans in Eddy County, N.M.
John Schmitz, chairman, president and CEO of Select, said Aug. 18, “This amendment and extension bolster our northern Delaware Basin footprint, and we are proud to grow alongside this key customer to deliver produced water recycling, disposal, pipeline gathering and treated produced water distribution across their growing development plans.”
The agreement is supported by about 500,000 dedicated acres and 375,000 ROFR acres. Select said its expansion project will cost $100 million-to-$120 million and begin service by yearend 2027. Select’s 2026 capital expenditure guidance remains the same.
