Houston-based Solaris Water Midstream said July 16 it started operations at its expanded Lobo Ranch Produced Water Recycling and Blending Center, a produced water recycling and non-potable water blending facility in Eddy Counrty near Malaga, N.M. Solaris also started development of its Bronco facility, an additional recycling and blending facility in nearby Lea County. The Solaris facilities are integrated into Pecos Star System, Solaris’ gathering, disposal and supply system of more than 300 miles. Lobo Ranch includes storage capacity of 1.8 million barrels of treated produced water and non-potable water and the ability to treat up to 80,000 barrels per day.
