Construction is beginning on Permian Highway, a $2 billion partnership of Houston-based Kinder Morgan, Midland’s EagleClaw Midstream and Altus Midstream Processing. Kinder Morgan Texas is building for the partnership the 430-mile pipeline to transport natural gas from Waha in Pecos County to the Gulf Coast with access to multiple markets. It is scheduled to be completed in 2020Q4. Preliminary construction began Aug. 21, including surveying, staking a center line, and stacking pipe. Installing pipe is scheduled to begin next month. Permian Highway will carry up to 2.1 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas.
