Houston-based Oilfield Labs of America is doubling the capacity of its facilities in Midland. Amanda North, director of lab operations, told the Midland Reporter Telegram the company is expanding its existing building and adding a second building of 4,000 square feet to give it more than 9,000 square feet of lab space. “We serve the oil and gas industry,” North said, “analyzing water, oil, anything that comes from the ground.” The biggest demand, according to North, is from operators who want to do more testing and analytics at their well sites.
Oilfield Labs of America also operates labs in Oklahoma City and Cheyenne, Wyoming.
