Apache has been leasing up shale tiers to 22,000 feet depth in the southern Delaware Basin along Toyah
Creek, Barilla Draw down to Hovey on the county line with Jeff Davis and Pecos counties. They have
hundreds of DUC wells all over the southern Delaware basin waiting for completion. They have leased
much of the area under their other name…..BP, and deliberately misled those tracking their E/P strategy
to believe they are pulling out of the Delaware and Permian basins.

Chevron is not fooled. They are acquiring leases to that same depth all around Apache in Reeves county.
