The Woodlands-based Earthstone Energy said recently that 14 of 19 wells brought online in 2022Q3 exceeded 1,000 barrels of oil per day, including the five-well Barnhart pad in Irion County, and Enverus said the company plans to allocate part of its 2023 capital budget to the area after it identified 40 additional locations. Earthstone reached 100,000 boed production in September 2022. Production volumes of 94,329 boed in Q3 nearly quadrupled the 25,836 boed of 2021Q3 after three major acquisitions were completed in 2022 – Chisholm Energy Holdings, Bighorn Permian Resources, and Titus Oil and Gas.
Earthstone’s primary assets are in Delaware and Midland basins in west Texas and Eagle Ford in south Texas.
