Midland Inspires awarded a deserving nonprofit with a check for $100,000 in a July 19 ceremony recognizing the organization for its outstanding community service. Family Promise of Midland, a charity that benefits homeless families, was the recipient of the funds.
Ellen K. Ramsey, the chair of Midland Inspires’ board of directors, shared these remarks:
“Family Promise is exactly the kind of nonprofit Midland Inspires members are excited to support: with a laser-like focus on their mission, they’ve worked tirelessly to educate and engage the whole Midland community in addressing the issue of family homelessness. They’re nearing completion on beautiful new facility whose wrap-around services will help children and families get back on their feet quickly and make a fresh start. We couldn’t be more proud to have selected Family Promise as our first Community Partner.”
