Fort Worth-based Brazos Midstream last week commissioned Sundance II, the company’s largest cryogenic natural gas processing plant. Capacity is 300 million cubic feet per day. Together with Sundance I, which began operations in 2024 with capacity of 200 million cfd, Brazos’ Sundance processing complex in Martin County grows to processing capacity of 500 million cfd and “provides critical processing capacity in the core of the Midland Basin and positions the company for continued growth in the region.”
Sundance II expands incremental residue gas and NGL takeaway capacity in the core of the Midland Basin, where producer activity remains concentrated.
Brad Iles, CEO, said Feb. 18, “As the largest privately held midstream operator in the Permian Basin, we are strategically positioned to support and grow alongside our producer customers and continue investing in midstream infrastructure that provides a more reliable and efficient path to market.”
