The first group of oil and gas inspectors from Railroad Commission of Texas recently attended a four-day course in Lubbock in the commission’s new partnership with Texas Tech to enhance professional development of inspectors. The course at Tech’s Department of Petroleum Engineering is designed specifically for oil and gas inspectors.
Marshall Watson, department chair, told Midland Reporter Telegram, “By providing hands-on training in a realistic environment, we’re helping inspectors build the skills they need to ensure safe and efficient energy operations across Texas.”
