Houston-based ConocoPhillips said last week its core Permian Basin assets will grow production about seven percent each year through 2032. Nick Olds, executive vice president, said April 12 that Delaware Basin will be the primary growth engine for the company, and the Midland Basin, which accounts for about one-third of ConocoPhillips inventory, will grow more slowly. The company has 910,000 acres in Delaware and Midland basins. Olds said in ConocoPhillips’ 10-year plan that capital expenditures will average $10 billion a year. Production in 2022 was 1.7 million barrels of oil per day. ConocoPhillips said it expects to eliminate routine flaring by 2025.
