Construction has been completed on the third cryogenic natural gas processing train at Diamond cryo complex in Alpine High, Altus Midstream’s plant in southern Reeves County. Oil & Gas Journal said Dec. 4 that Saulsbury Industries of Odessa constructed the gas processing units with capacity of 200 MMcfd each along with associated liquid stabilization, slug catches, and gas treating and residue gas compression units. The first processing train was commissioned in May by Altus Midstream, a partnership of Apache Corp. and Kayne Anderson Acquisition Corp., and the second reached startup in July. The third train is expected to begin operations by yearend.
