U.S. crude oil production reached another record of 13.58 million b/d in June after an increase of 133,000 b/d since June 2024, according to the latest Petroleum Supply Monthly from U.S. Energy Information Administration. Crude production in top producing state Texas added 11,000 b/d to reach 5.72 million b/d – highest since April. And the second largest producer, New Mexico, added 40,000 b/d to reach 2.24 million b/d – highest since March.
EIA also said supplies of crude and petroleum products in the U.S. rose by 684,000 b/d during June to their highest since October 2024 at 21 million b/d.
Gross natural gas production in U.S. lower 48 states rose to a record 120.7 billion cfd in June – up from 120.2 billion cfd in May and 120.5 billion cfd in March. In the top gas producing states, monthly output in June rose by 0.7 percent in Texas to 36.8 billion cfd and by 1 percent in Pennsylvania to 21.5 billion bfd.
