ExxonMobil remains the top drilling operator in U.S. and Permian Basin, as of March 7 according to Enverus, and Helmerich & Payne is the top contractor in U.S. In Permian Basin, the latest weekly average for Exxon was 35.1 rigs followed by Occidental with 24.9, EOG with 16.0, Mewbourne with 15.9, ConocoPhillips with 14.6, Diamondback with 14.0, Devon with 12.9, Permian Resources with 12.3 and Chevron with 11.0.
The latest weekly averages for U.S. include Exxon with 36.1 followed by Conoco with 31.3, Occidental with 29.1, EOG with 24.4, Mewbourne with 23.3, and Continental and Devon with 20.6 each.
Top contractors in U.S. include Helmerich & Payne with 151.1, Patterson with 100.0 and Nabors with 55.4.
Enverus said as of Feb. 21 Permian Basin had 111 of 198 frac crews in U.S. (150 of 279 year ago). And Permian had 2,023 of 4,090 DUC wells (2,452 of 5,140 year ago).
