Austin-based Infinity Water Solutions said last week it started construction of Mills Ranch #1, a commercial recycling facility in central Eddy County in northern Delaware Basin. It’s Infinity’s second New Mexico-based, commercially permitted facility for receipt, storage, handling, treatment and recycling of nonhazardous produced water from oil and gas production. Mills Ranch #1 will introduce the second generation of Infinity’s water treatment facilities and incorporate a treatment process free of chemical additives while “achieving superior results in water properties for reuse by oilfield operators.” Initial processing capacity will be 50,000 barrels per day (expandable to 200,000 b/d).
Michael Dyson, CEO, said, “We are excited to be an integral part of a more sustainable future for the oil and gas industry.” Infinity, provider of sustainable water supply chain solutions to the oilfield, was founded in 2019.
