Houston-based Iron Oak Energy Solutions, proppant supplier in North America, said recently it acquired High Roller Sand, which operates a facility in Winkler County in one of the highest-quality sand reserve deposits in the Permian Basin. The High Roller facility near Kermit enhances Iron Oak Energy’s ability to serve the Delaware and Midland basins. It produces up to four million tons of proppant per year for oil and gas operations in the region. After this acquisition, Iron Oak now operates five large-scale facilities in the Permian Basin – four in Winkler County and one in Crane County.
Michael Segura, president and CEO of Iron Oak Energy, said April 2, “As leading operators continue to consolidate in the Permian Basin, the addition of High Roller increases our supply capabilities and enhances our network to better serve the growing needs of our customers.”
Iron Oak also operates facilities in Eagle Ford Shale in south Texas and in Illinois and Wisconsin with total annual production of 34 million tons.
