iTankData Announces First Mobile App to Manage Oil Field Operations

October 13, 2016 by PBOG

iTankData Announces First Mobile App to Manage Oil Field Operations, to be rolled out at Permian Basin International Oil Show (PBIOS), October 18-20

“This mobile app allows operators to monitor production specific to leases and pumper staff. By 7am each day, supervisors can direct field crew based on the current status of crude oil production levels.”
Arlington, Texas: iTankData announces the release of the latest version of its mobile app. On top of its successful release of the first mobile app to monitor oil, water and chemical tank levels from a smartphone, this newest version allows oil field managers to view tank levels, by lease and by pumper, to better manage efficiency and assign projects, saving time and money.
“In today’s oil field, efficiency, cost, and safety are the key drivers. At iTankData, we seek to provide the experienced oil field supervisor with a management tool that allows them to truly manage their crew by knowing the status of all their wells at any given time. This allows them to manage their day, versus their day managing them. No other technology is as cost-effective and easy to use as the iTankData mobile app and tank monitor!” Said Stuart Schmidt, head of sales for iTankData.
In addition to knowing tank levels, alerts can be set in the system to notify field crew before an oil or water tank can overflow or when there is a potential that oil is being stolen. The app also includes a mapping feature that can direct workers to a specific lease without being given directions.
“The expenditure is quickly recovered and an operator’s JIB can easily handle a small monthly cost of $20.00 for data fees.” Said Bobby Adkins, CEO of RHB Exploration. “We installed five monitors ourselves and instantly had tank level data streaming right to our smartphones.”
iTankData will roll out this new app version at the Permian Basin International Oil Show (PBIOS), October 18-20, in Odessa, Texas. Appointments can be made to view the technology and tank monitors by contacting 405-706-0960, or coming by the iTankData booth, #E 21.
