Houston-based Johnson & Lindley last week opened a new oilfield laboratory in Midland, including 1,000 square feet of office space and 3,000 square feet of lab space. Sam Pruett, president of J&L Laboratories, told the Midland Reporter Telegram oilfield labs measure the health of wells. “The things we’re doing here bring a level of sophistication and accuracy the industry has struggled to meet,” he said. The lab offers new instrumentation and new technology that will “leverage the digital age when it comes to collecting and recording data (and) shorten the time to get it into our clients’ hands.”
Johnny Johnson, whose company has 75 years of experience in the oilfield chemical industry, said the information generated by the lab will be timely, efficient and reliable.
