Houston-based Kinder Morgan said last week it has secured a long-term binding agreement with a foundation shipper for half of the announced expansion capacity of 650 million cfd for the Permian Highway pipeline that moves gas from Waha in west Texas to Katy and other Gulf Coast markets. The project still is subject to a final investment decision. Targeted in-service date for the expansion is October 2023. The 2.1 Bcfd pipeline would be expanded primarily by adding compression.
