Missi Currier has been named president and CEO of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association. She served as president and CEO of Economic Development Corp. of Lea County. NMOGA announced her appointment Aug. 1 and said Currier “is known for her strategic vision and dedication to fostering mutually beneficial relationships among stakeholders.”
Currier said, “I am committed to leading our association toward a sustainable and prosperous path… We will work tirelessly to create innovative solutions that benefit both our state and the environment and address the opportunities and challenges of our industry.” Betty Read Young, NMOGA board chair, added, “Her passion for innovation, commitment to environmental stewardship, and ability to build strong partnerships will undoubtedly strengthen NMOGA’s position as a driving force for positive change.”
She is a graduate of Carlsbad, N.M., High School and Texas Tech University.
