Oklahoma City-based Nova Compression said recently it purchased natural gas compression assets from The Woodlands-based Kodiak Gas Services. The assets, which are near Pecos in west Texas, will allow Nova “to double its density in an active area of the Delaware Basin.”
Jonathan Mitchell, CEO of the company founded in 2007, said Dec. 5, “The new assets will expand our presence in west Texas while further growing our flexible range of horsepower we offer customers. By offering compression packages that range from under-200 horsepower units to large 2,000-plus horsepower compressors, Nova is positioned to serve the industry as a one-stop shop and flexible provider of compression.”
Nova serves Texas and midcontinent regions. It now has more than 330,000 horsepower in west and south Texas, Oklahoma and the Ark-La-Tex region.
