Vicki Hollub, president and CEO of Houston-based Occidental Petroleum, is one of five women who will be inducted into the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame to honor their achievements, leadership and contributions to the state. Gov. Greg Abbott announced the awards and said the ceremony will be held Nov. 6 at Texas Woman’s University in Denton.
Hollub leads one of the largest oil and gas producers in Texas and the U.S. An engineering graduate of University of Alabama, she serves on the boards of Lockheed Martin and American Petroleum Institute. She was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2024.
Also honored will be Dr. Bonnie J. Dunbar, Eva Guzman, Adair Margo and Dr. Christine A. Nix. Hosts for the awards dinner, established in 1984, are Gov. Abbott and First Lady Cecilia Abbott.
