Dallas-based Peregrine Energy Partners said last week it recently completed three acquisitions, including a producing mineral position in northwest shelf of Permian Basin in Eddy County. The deals added 3,680 net mineral and royalty acres in New Mexico, Colorado, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Financial terms were not announced.
Peregrine said Aug. 4 the acquired assets include interest in more than 1,240 producing wells with “meaningful near-term development and longer-term inventory.” The New Mexico acquisition consists of about 40 net mineral wells. These interests include all depths and are currently producing from 5 wells targeting multiple Yeso intervals operated by Riley Exploration Permian.
Josh Prier, managing director, said, “The Eddy County acquisition expands our Permian footprint with a concentrated, oil-weighted producing position under an experienced operator.”
