BCCK has signed an agreement with ZAP Engineering and Construction Services Inc. to deliver a 45 MMSCFD NiTech Dual Tower Nitrogen Rejection Unit (NRU) and oil removal system. The new cryo facility will commence operations in Q1 of 2027. This contract marks a significant collaboration between BCCK and ZAP Engineering, the project’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm. The two companies share a mutual goal of advancing gas processing in the Permian Basin. BCCK’s president and CEO, Kevin Blount, said, “BCCK is proud to have been selected by ZAP Engineering to deliver another of its NiTech NRUs. This will be BCCK’s 46th NRU, a testament to our longstanding, unrivaled experience in nitrogen rejection and cryogenic gas processing. Our industry-leading technology provides a highly efficient and environmentally friendly design with a very clean vent stream in support of the drive to reduce methane emissions.” BCCK specializes in engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field construction services. NiTech NRU technology empowers operators to recover reserves previously deemed uneconomical due to high nitrogen or other contaminants.
Shane Wilson, vice president of business development, ZAP Engineering, said, “ZAP Engineering is pleased to partner with BCCK, the recognized leader in NRU solutions across the midstream oil and gas industry.”
