Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. made a key addition to its executive lineup March 24 with the appointment of Álvaro Grande, who joined the team in the United States as Head of Services. The appointment is part of the expansion of the service division to broaden maintenance support infrastructure for compressor operators. Grande brings over 20 years of compression industry experience in operations, sales, and engineering, with a track record in leadership roles across the Americas and Europe. Said Grande: “My main task is to take the maintenance business to the next level and build on the foundations that are currently in place. I am really looking forward to the move to Texas, which will bring me to the hub of compressor operations in the U.S. for Burckhardt Compression. With the growing market for liquified natural gas [LNG] and the need to support existing infrastructure in other gas applications, upgrades and revamps of compressors are essential projects that require technical expertise and fast delivery. We will continue to build our network of service centers to ensure all operators have access to our industry-leading maintenance services.”
