Oklahoma now is No. 3 among states with 63 rigs after adding 3 in previous week followed by Louisiana (down 3 to 62) and North Dakota (up 1 to 36). Eagle Ford is new runner-up among regions with 69 rigs (up 1 in previous week) followed by Haynesville with 68 (down 1), and Marcellus and Williston with 38 each.
Lea County, N.M., is the Permian leader with 55 rigs (down 1) followed by Eddy, N.M., with 52 (down 1), Midland with 38 (down 1), Martin with 31 (up 1), Reeves and Loving with 27 each, and Howard with 24.
