The upcoming summer conference of the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association will include a session with candidates in the November general election for commissioner of the Railroad Commission of Texas. They are Republican candidate Bo French, former chair of the Republican party of Tarrant County, and Democratic candidate Jon Rosenthal, state representative from Houston.
The conference will be conducted Aug. 17-18 near San Antonio at Hyatt Hill Country Resort. Scott Mason, EPA administrator for Region VI, and Michael Cloud (R-Victoria), member of the U.S. House of Representatives, also will be featured on the agenda. TIPRO is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
Other speakers will include Texas legislators Charles Perry (R-Lubbock) and Kevin Sparks (R-Midland) from the Senate and Drew Darby (R-San Angelo) from the House of Representatives.
