Fort Worth-based Total Sand Solutions recently acquired Midland’s Sand Revolution, which provides trucking, logistics and delivery solutions in Permian Basin in west Texas and Eagle Ford Shale in south Texas. Total Sand said it now becomes “the largest independent logistics provider in the country with the capacity to deliver over 25 million tons of proppant per year to its customers.”
The transaction expands Total Sand’s market share and geographic coverage in Permian and Eagle Ford, which account for more than half of U.S. total proppant demand.
Stuart Weinman, CEO of Total Sand Solutions, said Nov. 6, “Sand Revolution’s last-mile solutions are highly complementary to our existing capabilities, allowing us to deliver even greater value, reliability and efficiency to our customers.” Greg Lanham, CEO of Sand Revolution, added, “We are proud of what we’ve built, and joining TSS is an exciting new chapter for Sand Revolution.”
