Bakersfield, Calif.-based Tyrion Integration Services developed a SCADA platform (supervisory control and data acquisition) and brought it to the Permian Basin. Tyrion’s Nucleus platform has built-in communications, including fiber, and serves as an all-in-one platform. Mark Goehring, general manager, told Midland Reporter Telegram that Tyrion came to the Permian five years ago and now has almost 1,000 of its Nucleus platforms installed in the region. “Our plan is to focus on the Permian Basin,” he said.
David Pitzer, director of engineering, added, “We can provide automation to companies just getting going who have assets and products they need to keep their eyes on but don’t have the expertise to build and maintain SCADA systems.”
Tyrion opened an office in Midland for sales, integration and fabrication.
