Fort Worth-based Brazos Midstream Holdings III said last week it completed construction of a cryogenic gas processing plant in Martin County. Sundance I is scheduled to start commercial service in October with capacity of 200 million cfd. Brazos said Aug. 15 it also is in final stages of constructing about 175 miles of high-pressure gas-gathering pipelines and associated midstream infrastructure in the core of Midland Basin in Ector, Glasscock, Howard, Martin, Midland and Reagan counties.
The company also plans to build another cryogenic gas plant in the region with capacity of 300 million cfd for startup at yearend 2025.
Brazos Midstream represents the largest privately held midstream platform in Permian Basin. It was founded in 2014 and started construction on Sundance I in 2023. Its assets also include gathering infrastructure in Borden County.
