Goodnight Midstream starts construction of Estacado pipeline in Eddy, Lea

September 18, 2026 by Sarrah Barton Leave a Comment

Dallas-based Goodnight Midstream recently started construction of Estacado pipeline, a high-pressure produced water system in Eddy and Lea counties in southeast New Mexico.  Estacado is designed to provide upstream oil and gas producers in northern Delaware Basin with large-scale, reliable water management.  Grant Adams, CEO, said Sept. 1, “Goodnight’s assets are well-positioned to meet the growing industry demand for produced water handling.”

Estacado is supported by long-term volume commitments “from several of the largest producers in the Delaware Basin” and will be integrated with the company’s existing Llano pipeline.  The 90-mile Estacado, expected in service by 2027Q1, will add 550,000 barrels per day of capacity to Goodnight’s Estacado-Llano system.

Llano pipeline began operation in 2019.  Goodnight’s system will be able to provide producers with takeaway capacity of more than 900,000 b/d.
